ooc: Have you read the RPG up to this point? I lost my staff when the trollocs came to the inn. If that could even be called a weapon.
Surprised at the mans words, Vos looked down at his right hand. There was a sword in his hand but he could not feel it. Broawien must have used some kind of Aes Sedai trick to make it seem like if he was armed.
Completely at a loss of what to do, Vos turned his head looking askance at Broawien Sedai.
ooc: Hope it was ok, Nailo.

**ooc: oops sorry, missed where you lost the staff, my mistake... good cover**
The sword disappeared from the boys hand, an Aes Sedai weave, he thought. But why was she just looking at him... Why wouldn't she speak, did she recognise him. The Bow!!! He had bowed in a tower-learned way. Desperately trying to come up with a plausible explanation, his paranoia started to grow. He considered running, but she would not be troubled by that..."pardon, Aes Sedai, but what are you doing in the wilderness?"

B roawien nodded at Vos, she had recognized the bow of a warder, but still was untrusting of a convient warder. Broawien stepped forward, touching Vos's arm lightly, "Be at ease, one man is easily handled." She had said that to let the man know that she was ready to act should he give a wrong answer, the convience of him being here, after her capture was to much of a coincedecne for her. Looking the new man up and down, she spoke again, not letting emotion touch her voice, giving it a cold quality that made a normal man shudder, "Well boy, explain yourself. Be warned, I am in a foul temper, and if I do not like your response, you will not like mine."

Vos turned back to watching the man when he saw Broawien's nod. As she stepped forward Vos moved a little to the side letting her pas. "Be at ease, one man is easily handled." Something in her cold voice told him that the words had been meant to both of them, not just for him. The tone made Vos glad he was not the one spoken to.

*not a warder, just warder trained, but I suppose you wouldn't know that...*
The Aes Sedai's cool tone made Jaisin a little scared, he had seen some examples of what the power could do. He desperately tried to think up an explanation, he couldn't trust these two... "I'm just a traveller, a mercenary, I sell my sword to the highest bidder...I was sleeping when I saw you, eh, descend from the tree, so you must be Aes Sedai. I thought you were alone and I was going to offer my services, but I can see that you've already got a, eh, bodyguard? He doesn't seem very dangerous though, so my offer stands." His lack of explanation for the bow was obvious to himself, but he hoped it had gone by unnoticed. He needed company, but he wasn't about to tell anybody that he had killed his father, no matter how much he deserved it. "I have no other explanation, but may I ask what an Aes Sedai is doing all but alone in Southern Shienar? It can be dangerous." He knew he was babbling, of course she could look after herself, but he needed to fill the tense silence, he was getting nervous...

Aleandra had been traking the darkfriend for a few days now, following him even through a wetlander city. He had joined a trolloc group recently, and they had attacked an inn. They even captured two women and a man, but the group seemed to have been attacked, and all were killed, exept of course that dat'sang...
In a hope to find him once again, she decided to track his former prey, though one of the women had left on her own. A man just joined the other two, and she observed their camp silently. An Aes Sedai? She felt that the woman could channel...interesting...to make her presence felt calmly, she channeled a thin thread to signal Broawien.

Vos felt shame and anger when the man dismissed him so lightly. Telling himself that it was rightly so, he was a farmer and in a poor state at that, didn't help much. To get something else on his mind Vos looked into the forest. It seemed completely deserted though, not even the usual sounds of birds filled the morning.

Jaisin saw the boy's face go red as he jerked his head towards the forest, and felt sorry for what he had said. He had no right to judge somebody he didn't know, and underestimating anybody was dangerous. His lack of social grace and stubbornness stopped him from apologising, and he followed the boys eyes out into the forest, immediately noticing that something was wrong. The normal bird and frog calls were gone, only silence remained. "Well boy, it looks like you might need a weapon soon, there's something out there thats scared off the wildlife." He slid into the form "Leopard in the Tree", ready to draw his sword at the slightest noise...

(oopsies! I'm so sorry, I had just read the synopsis)
With a small smile, she stepped out of the bush silently. She was now standing behind the two men, but they were wary, she should announce herself calmly perhaps...
You have a pretty good ear wetlander, but i do not think the creatures were scared off by me. The stench of trolloc is all over the...forest. I see you, may you find shade and water always.
She sounded hesitant on that last word, as if it was new to her and didn't know if she was using it well. She then looked at the woman, looking for any reaction to her previous chanelling

Jaisin whipped round, unsheathing his sword in a swift practiced move and sidestepping between the newcomer and the aes sedai before even realising it was a lone woman. Face flaming, he lowered the sword, but didn't relax, you couldn't trust anyone... "Aiel! A bloody black veiled aiel, what are you doing this side of the spine of the world? Your kind usually keep to themselves!" He realised she was looking by his shoulder, ignoring him and focusing on the aes sedai...surely a savage couldn't recognise an Aes Sedai!

ooc: Aleandra, you are still dressed as a wise one I hope. If you are not I'll have to edit this later.
Vos jumped at the sound of the new voice, but even so he was only a heartbeat slower then the man to turn around. What he saw made him start again. A tall woman, red-golden hair, green eyes and in bulky skirts. How could she have come so close without him hearing her, and he had been listening. She was certainly right about it not being her who had scared the wildlife away. Most likely it had been they themself who had done that. It was small comfort that the man had not thought about this either.
Suddenly Vos noticed that the man must be shouting. His lips were moving, but Vos registered no sound. The world started to spin and white spots started to dance in front of his eyes. Taking half a step forward, preventing himself from falling flat on the ground, Vos realised that he was about to pass out from exhaustion again. Yes again, he now remebered how everything had turned black when he was still back at the inn. This was not a good time to faint though. Vos had to focus all his remaining strength on standing. He was not sure that he managed to keep from swaying, and was glad that the man with the sword was standing in front of him looking at the tall woman. Broawien should have her attention on the woman as well, and surely the woman would be watching the man with the sword. Right now it suited Vos fine too be so obviously harmless.

Broawien stopped listening to the one time warder in training, she had felt a woman channeling nearby, a thin stream that was used as a signal, not to scare her. She looked past the men and watched as an Aiel woman stepped from the surrounding brush, "You have a pretty good ear wetlander, but i do not think the creatures were scared off by me. The stench of trolloc is all over the...forest. I see you, may you find shade and water always."
She nodded to the much taller woman, "I see you. Please, come share my shade and water." Broawein was sure that that was not the correct response, but she wasnt a Brown or Gray, she didnt know all of the cusoms and courtesies. Broawien assumed that it was formal enough not to offened.
Broawien extended her arm toward the log where she had been sitting the night before, directing the tall woman to sit with her. Looking to the two men she said, "Gentlemen, if you would be about finding our breakfast and some water? Oh yes, and mercanary, we shall discuss your offer later, in private."
OOC: Sorry I didnt post for so long, it's a long drive from Cali......

Alea smiled, glad that the Aes Sedai saw no malice in her intentions. Ignoring the taller and rude man with the good hearing she sat next to the woman, putting her heavy bulky bag down.
"I am Aleandra, Wise One of the Black Water sept of the Nakai clan. I am sorry to intrude upon your camp like so, but I am tracking a man. A darkfriend. I thought maybe you have seen a darkhaired domani, with the group of trollocs that was persuing you? I must apologise for being so blunt, but seeing that you are the ennemy of my ennemy, maybe you can help me"
Alea spared a short glance to the other two men. The younger one seemed to falter a bit, from exaustion from the looks of it.
"Is he alright?"

Finaly the world came to a halt again, but having to concentrate only on standing upright made it impossible to keep the memories he was fleeing back. Now he was back in the small forrest where they had played hide and seek as children. After years playing this game, he and three more had no longer been welcome to join the game. They had become to good at hiding and sneaking up on the other boys. Looking for other challanges they had started to track down deers, trying to get as close as possible. Once Vos had managed to come within a yard of one, close enough to touch it had he reached his hand out.
The memories started to race, not slowing down untill the night when the trollocs had come. That singel night seemed to last a year.
Bits of the conversation around him suddenly started to register in Vos mind. ..."Gentlemen, if you would be about finding our breakfast..." ... ... "Is he alright?".
Vos bowed his head slightly. Yes breakfast. It was after all early autumn so it should be no trouble finding some berries, roots of some sort and maybe even mushrooms. Now Vos noticed the tears filling his eyes. Hoping against hope that they had gone by unnoticed, he turned towards the forest. Time to see if he could still move as silently as when they had played as children. Not that he had much hope about that either, when he could barely stand up. To move seemed to help somewhat though.

Jaisins face flamed at being ignored as easily dealt with in front of the Aes Sedai, and he slammed his sword back into the scabbard. The scathing way that the Aes Sedai had said Mercenary made him regret using that as a cover story, he had more honour than to sell his sword. "Well boy, are you up to a bit of foraging", he said, trying to sound friendly, the boy looked ready to bolt, or collapse, maybe. "We can't keep the Aes Sedai waiting", he continued, deciding to ignore the Aiel savage... ooc: sorry for being so rude Alea, it's all in character
