The attack came swiftly, Jaisin's hand flying from hers before she had a chance for thought. The light of Sadir surrounded Aleandra as Broawien herself embraced the Source. Her hands flew up in a practiced way, weaving Fire and Earth erupting the ground before her approaching foes. With those slowed, Broawien sent a Fireball out in front of Vos's attack.
To her right, Aleandra was using weaves that Broawien had never seen, but she seemed to be handling herself quite nicely. She spared a glance at Jaisin as she wove her next attack for her Trolocs. He was hacking away, but seemed to be alright for the time being. She sent small balls of dense Air hurdling at the advancing Trollocs, one exploded through the middle. Another's head became a hollow space.
Broawien tried to put a shield of Air between herself and the flying gore, but only managed to keep most of it off of herself. releasing the rest of her weaves, Broawien concentrated on a Dense Sheild of Air to surround them all. Shouting at Aleandra to attack through it.

Everything was happening at once, suddenly Vos had a long knife in his hand, and was facing one side of a fairly square clearing. There were shouts, screams and something sounding like a horn, all around him. For Vos it became harder by the moment to keep the past and the present separated. The sight of the Trollocs triggered memories, and Vos knew that he was staring blindly in front of him, his arms hanging slack at his sides. He knew it but could not make himself ready to fight. They would all die now, this was to be the end. Nothing could save him now, but at least he would no longer have to face memories of all that he had lost. Then it struck him, those memories was all there was left of his home, his friends and everything else he had loved. If he died they would all die with him, but as long as he lived they would live as a part of him.
Taking notice once again of what was happening around him, Vos noticed that the others were holding their grounds. If they could face up to this why should he not at least be able to survive it, and maybe he could learn from them. A trolloc came towards Vos, when it was still coming a ball of fire flew at it. The trolloc managed to avoid it but it was clearly frightened by it. This made a smile touch Vos's lips. If these beasts could feel fear, then they could be beaten. Vos noticed that his opponent had no armor belove his knees, so when the large trolloc aimed a strike towards Vos's head, he dove, trying to slice at it's leg. Still hanging in the air Vos noticed that the trollocs axe had stoped as if hitting solid rock. In the next moment Vos felt as if he had hit a wall. He landed on his right arm, and felt how pain shot up it, something burned in his left side as well. The trolloc had turned though and was running back into the forest.
All around him the clamour seemed to die out. Vos stood up and saw that the burning in his side was caused by the knife he had landed on. It was no large wound, and more troubling was that his arm ached as soon as he moved.

The trolloc in front of him fell to the ground, rolls of intestines piling from it's collapsed torso, and Jaisin smoothly spun away, realising that the trollocs were all dead or running. There had been at most eight, but the fight had been brutally short. He had only killed the one, which rankled a bit when he saw the five lying headless or smoking around the Aes Sedai and Aiel. The stench of death and char permeated the void, and he let go, still scanning the edges of the clearing. Suddenly he realised that Vos was down. He knew little of wounds, but knelt besid the boy, noticing straight away that the wound on his side was minor, but he was holding his arm and looked pained, but not panicky. For some reason, that made him proud. He shook the thought awy and called to Broawien, "Broawien Sedai, are you alright? I think Vos might need your help."

Broawien could not turn her eyes from the remains of Trollocs that lay infront of her. The scent churned her stomach, evenas Jaisin called for her, she could barely tear herself away. The small woman noticed for the first time that the others were still there. Vos was lying on the ground, a small wound to his side, and holding his arm to his body.
"Broawien Sedai, are you alright? I think Vos needs your help," Jaisin said. Broawien nodded and kneeled down besid Vos, Readying the weaves to delve him. "Vos, this is the second time to heal you, in less than a week. You had better start taking better care of yourself, or I just might bond you to keep you safe," Broawien said with a small smile as she slid her weaves over he boy. He had a broken arm, fractured in two places, His wound in his side was not deep, but needed to be healed before it could get infected. Other minor scrapes and bruises would heal on thier own.
Broawien healed his side first, knitting flesh to flesh with Fire and Spirit. When that had closed, she murrmered to the boy comforting words as she set his arm with Jaisin's help. She could not heal it, as healing had never been her forte. Yet she could set and weave a protective shield around it, tying it off, she looked up at him. "It will have to heal on it's own, unless Aleandra knows how to mend broken bones," the Aiel shook her head as Broawien looked over to Jaisin, "and how did you fair? Anything that you need healed?" Broawien released the One Power, letting the sweetness leave her, and the blandness of the world return.

She was concentrating on the Dance, weaving and blocking with her dagger when necesary. Ah...She had missed the dance...But it was quickly over. Sending a last fire ball at a straggling fleeing Trolloc Aleandra wiped her dagger, the black blood sticky and smelly on the old cloth. Throwing it aside, she looked at the abobinations around her. What were they doing this far south? She spat on the nearest, the one who had almost reached her with it's black blade, the one she had to use her dagger on. During the dance she was impressed at how the man moved, he at least knew how to fight. And the Aes sedai could take care of herself, she was glad to see that not all wetlander women were weak. She looked at Vos with a small glint of worry in her eyes. The boy had courage, he did, she and Jaisin would have to tech him how to dance. She regreted not being very good at healing, it wasn't something Aiel Wiseones were good at, knowledge had greatly faded in that area.
I can put it in a sling for you, that i can make.
She looked in her bag for some bandages. Normaly, she would wrap it around the arm tightly with no hard support, since wood was rare in the Waste, but since these were the Wetlands, she thought it would be better to find the straitest branch possible. Weaving air, she regretfully cut a branch from a nearest tree, and started making a plank with weaves of air. It was a shame to cut trees like that...it was probably old traditions that whent back to the time when they lived with the Treebrothers that made her a bit guilty harming the tree.
<awww I missed the fight!>

"and how did you fair? Anything that you need healed?"
Jaisin looked up at the Aes Sedai and ahook his head, "No, Aes Sedai, only one attacked me, I'm fine." He plunged his sword into the dirt to clean the black blood from it, then went to his pack and took out a cloth and whetstone to finish the job. "I don't think they'll be back too soon, it was a small group and there was no fade. Why were they here? It's a little to far south to expect a trolloc raid, and even then, why less than ten? It doesn't make sense Broawien Sedai." He finished cleaning his sword and resheathed it. The Aiel was splinting Vos' arm. "Is it broken? Can you not heal him Aes Sedai? I have had broken bones healed many times in the tower..."

Vos graunted as Aleandra took care of his arm. So it was broken, then it would be no use to ask Jasin if he could teach him how to handle the knife. Most likely he wouldn't travel with them long enough to learn much anyway. The fact that Jaisi though it unlikely that they would suffer another attack was good though. Now that Vos had shown how little he knew about fighting the others might not be able to concentrate fully on their own fights if something would happen again. When Aleandra was done with his arm, Vos cleaned the dagger on his shirt and handed it back to Jaisin.

Broawien watched the Aiel skillfully plint and wrap the broken arm. Jaisin cleaned his sword, telling of the likely hood of another attack being slim.
"Is it broken? Can you not heal him Aes Sedai? I have had broken bones healed many times in the tower..." Broawien looked up quickly and raised an eyebrow. So he was at the Tower long enough to have his bones broken and healed a few times? Interesting, she thought.
Aloud she said, "My Healing skill is only fair, I can try, but it would take most of my energy to heal it and then someone would have to carry me for the rest of our journey. Would you carry me that far Jaisin, or have Vos endure the pain of my clumsy mending? I didnt think so."
Turning back to the boy, she addressed him in a softer voice, "Vos, in two weeks, when the bone has started mending itself, I will beable to help it along. I will be able to heal it a little at a time, the way the bone broke, I cant heal it all at once. I promise though, it will return to normal strength quickly."
When Vos started speaking to Aleandra in low tones, Broawien straightened and looked at Jaisin, she almost stuck her tongue out at him, but remembered her bearing. Taking his arm, she dragged him a few feet away so that they could have privacy, "Jaisin, once Vos's arm is healed, I would like you to teach him to fight. Eventually he will leave our company, and when that time comes, I want to know that he can take care of himself. You are also to help him strengthen his arm as it heals, so he will not have to spend months recovering. Now is there anything you would like to tell me? About the Tower, or the Trollocs, which ever you wish would be helpful."

Jaisin sighed, you could always trust an Aes Sedai to do two things, give orders and ask questions...
"About the tower Aes Sedai? I'm sure you know more than I do, I was there only a few years. About the trollocs...well, they were Dha'vol, but I'm sure you knew that. What worries me is the lack of leadership, the only reason I can come up with is that they are a scouting party, which could put us in a bad situation. I think they were told to scout for anybody, but got greedy seeing only four of us. We should move, and quickly. As for Vos, he has a quick arm and eye, he should be no trouble to teach, but the knife is no weapon. He's good with a staff, so that's what he should use. I can teach him a bit of finesse with that, but I'll admit he would probably beat me in a staff fight, I need the accuracy of a sword..." It was the longest he had talked for in a while, and the effort of not saying anything about the tower was hard. "Now, if you'll pardon me Aes Sedai, I must scout the perimeter to make sure the stragglers aren't still lurking..." He turned quickly and started towards the edge of the forest.

Aleandra looked regretfully at the tree and the boy's broken arm.
Such a shame, she thought, just when he needs it most...To bad I do not know the weaves...The Aes Sedai does...But....maybe she can teach me?
She turned around, to see if Broawien and Jaisin had finished their conversation and waited for them to finish. She looked at Vos, her usual sharp eyes softened a bit.
When Jaisin turned to the forest once more, she approached the Aes Sedai.
Poor Vos...it is truly a shame for his arm to be broken...Broawien Sedai, i hear you say that you know the weaves but do not have to energy to do it? Maybe I can try, if you teach me. The healing arts were largely forgoten in the Waste. I know it is dangerous, but if I cannot make it, I will leave it to heal naturaly, no use giving him a permanet handicap.

Broawien watched the man walk away from her, she had learned something very interesting everytime she talked with him.
"Poor Vos...it is truly a shame for his arm to be broken...Broawien Sedai, i hear you say that you know the weaves but do not have to energy to do it? Maybe I can try, if you teach me. The healing arts were largely forgoten in the Waste. I know it is dangerous, but if I cannot make it, I will leave it to heal naturaly, no use giving him a permanet handicap," Aleandra said.
Broawien nearly jumped out of skin, Bloody Aiel, always bloody sneaking around. Turning to the taler woman, she nodded and said, "That might work, I am not strong enough to make them work on thier own, at least not on a bone as large as the arm. A finger I can heal, but much larger and it takes to much energy. Here I will show you the weaves, if you think that you can do it, then I will help you." Broawien embraced the source and fondled it in her mind for a second.
Creating thin threads of Fire, Spirit, Earth, and Air, She created the weave slowly so that the Aiel woman could easily follow, and perform it correctly. When she had finished the weave, allowing it to hang in the air for a few seconds before releasing the weaves.
"Did you get that?"

Aleandra watched Broawien's weave intensely, paying close attention to every detail. When the weaved vanished, she herself embraced the source, feeling wonderfully serene in it's presence. Weaving it as she had seen it she tsked angrily at herself, knowing she had made a mistake, and corrected the shaming error as quickly as she could. Finaly, after repeating it over and over again until she had it perfectly and quickly to her liking, she looked up to the Aes sedai for her confirmation. Seeing that Broawien did not see any fault in the weave, she nodded and approached Vos.
Would you like me to heal your arm? It would be best, you will have full use of it immediatly, and you could learn to fight properly quickly, instead of wasting several months healing it and getting it used to it again. But this is the first time i will use it. Although I am quite sure about my abilities, it is your choice.
This was the first time she asked if someone wanted to be healed or not, even if it was a new weave, she did not let foolishness and exessive pride get someone killed in the Waste because of a small injury, and no one was foolish enough to refuse, but she didn't know why she had asked. Maybe that memory of her nephew was mixing with a sort of affection for the young wetlander boy

ooc: I'll be away for a couple of days, so feel free to play Vos along. Just don't bond him or something...
Vos stod watching the forest where Jaisin had vanished.
"Would you like me to heal your arm? It would be best, you will have full use of it immediatly, and you could learn to fight properly quickly, instead of wasting several months healing it and getting it used to it again. But this is the first time i will use it. Although I am quite sure about my abilities, it is your choice."
He turned as Aleandra Sedai spoke to him, and he had to look up to meet her eyes. The question trubbled him, partly he was surprised that she asked at all, but mostly for the simple reason that Vos felt how his debt to these people grew for each time they helped him. The pain in the arm was not close to enough reason for accepting the offered help, but right now he would be an even greater burden to these people if he refused healing. So what would render him the leaser debt... Finaly Vos answered Aleandra. -If you think it's for the best Aes Sedai.

Aleandra smiled as he called her Aes sedai.
I am not Aes Sedai, I am a Wise One. she said, with a note of pride. She had worked hard to get that status...even if it mean giving up the spear. You knew that both were equal to her eyes, despite the traditional aiel beleifs. Embracing saidar, she wove the recent weave around the arm, sealing the bone, and erasing the pain. She hoped he had regained full function of his arm...gently taking the arm in her hands, she looked a it critically. It seemed strait enough. then she asked Vos to flex his fingers. This was critical qith normal healing methods. if he couldn't make a fist, the bone had not been properly set...but she sighed with releif as she saw him make a fist with ease.
Good, she said with a smile, you will be able to learn to Dance properly now.
