Broawien offered her arm to help the man rise, but he did not seem to notice. The small woman twirled her Great Serpent ring with her thumb and pinky as she always did when she was nervous.
The man had started forward, leaving the camp slowly, carefully. Broawien followed as best she was able, trying to be silent, though not having grown up near any woods, she was not so good as she had hoped. She followed without speaking, for a reason unknown to her, trusting the man without question.
When they had reached the outside of the camp, Broawien spoke softly, "I do not know where we are, I am unfamiliar with this area," she had been about to suggest that maybe the other girl would know when she noticed that she was gone. She looked side to side, giving a slight pout that she had not noticed her disapearance. "I think that we might wish to find shelter. I think that you and I need to have a talk."
Broawien left her tone soft enough not to be commanding, but she could not help letting a hint of it slip in.

When hearing the woman speak, Vos didn't answer. He only nodded slightly, continuing forward, not sure if he would be able to start moving again if he stoped. Thoughts spun in Vos head. -Healing, Aes Sedai? She must have healed me, must be an Aes Sedai.- He remembered something about the prise always being greater then you coud imagine, when getting help from an Aes Sedai. Mixed with that thought though, came the voice of his mother -If you belive only half of what people hold for undisputable thruths, half of what you do belive will still be dead wrong.- At the memory of his mother Vos felt how tears filled his eyes.
Sudenly They stod above of a small depression in the ground. The rim of the hollow was thick with bushes. Vos started to descend. It looked like as sutible a place they could wish for. Vos sat down and turned to the woman.
Vos voice was flat, not a hint of emotion in it, when he spoke.
- You wanted to talk. Will you tell my what price I have to pay for the help of an Aes Seai? Or are you just planing not to let me know until you charge me? - For you are an Aes Sedai aren't you? Not a darkfriend?
At the last word Vos shuddered slightly.

Staring down at the small depression Broawien only half cuaght what the man was saying to her, "For you are an Aes Sedai aren't you? Not a darkfriend?"
Broawien's heaad whipped around at the last, causing her harumph loudly and shift her cloak around her shoulders, "Of course I am Aes Sedai, do you really believe that a darkfriend would have helped you?" The Green sister rolled her eyes and stomped down the little slope. Her mother had told her that acting this way was just childish, yet even on becoming an Aes Sedai she coldnt help but throw a Tantrum, especially when they dared question her achievment of the shawl. Embracing saidir Broawien wove a small ball of fire into existence, just bright enough to see by. Turning Broawien waved her left hand in front of his face, "See that ring? It isn't just some trinket, I am Broawien Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah, and you will show me the proper respect."
The Aes Sedai's pearl netted hair bounced lightly as she turned trying to walk calmly down the slope, she looked back, "I thought that I told you to find us shelter so that we may talk?"

- I'm sorry Aes Sedai. I'm confused beyond measurement, but I don't think we'll find much much better shelter then this tonight. If we are carefull and don't light a fire it should be difficult for anyone to find us short of stumbling over us. That is if there still are any Trollocs alive in these woods.
Vos tried to keep all notion of reprouch out of his voice at the bit about making a fire.
-But if it doesn't siut you Aes Sedai we'd better get going. Before we go one I must ask you one thing. After you healed me it feels like I'm getting more starved by the minute... and, well, I haven't really taken good care of myself the last five weeks, and then these last days, the point is I feel like I'm starving to death, faster then I should. Am I supposed to feel like that?
Hesitantly Vos starts to stand.

"Starving? Well you should of course be hungry, a Healing takes a lot out of the body, but starving? When was the last time you ate? Never mind, right now at least we could get moving. I would like to be as far away as possible before we rest."
Broawien continued down the slope, slowing only enough for the man to catch up. They walked on for hours, The man stumbling occasionally, continued on with out comment, seemingly lost in his own thoughts. Broawien began to worry as she could hear his stomach grumble in hunger, but he did not complain. Just as the sun started to peak above the horizon, Broawien stopped and looked around the wooded area.
"Do you think that we have gone far enough? I really do think that you should rest soon. I'm not a Yellow or anything, but I do remember that you need to rest after healing."

For the last couple of hours Vos had failed to notice anything of the forest around them. Only vaguely was he even aware of the darkness lifting slowly. All of his concentration went to ignoring the hunger that seemed to drain strength from his body with each step. When the woman in front of him finaly stoped it was more luck then anything else that he didn't stumble on into her back.
When the Aes Sedai sat down on a log, Vos slumped with his back to a tree. Feeling a bit better not having to walk any longer he remembered something.
-You wanted to talk about something Aes Sedai? Do You know who the other woman were? Do You know what's going on?

Broawien sat straighter on the log, Did she know of the other woman? Of course not! She had never seen the girl before. "Actually, I wanted to ask you about the Trollocs, What are they doing this south of the Blight? Also why did they take you and the girl? And me fo that matter? I didn't see any of the others from the Inn there, what did you do? Are you a darkfriend? Why, I bet you are you are filthy, ukempt, and should be dead yet you walk arou......."
Broawien snaaped her mouth shut. She was babbling, she had always done that when she didnt know what to do, she just babbled on and on, usually until someone slapped her, but this time she had caught herself. Luckily too, it looked like her companion wanted to slap her, and prbably would have if he hadnt been so exhuasted.

Vos looked up at Broawien when she started to, well, babble was the best description Vos could think of. Then something slipt that it didn't seem like Broawien had wanted to say couse she snaped her mouth shut midsentence. So he should be dead should he. She wanted him dead. For the first time in the five weeks since the raid on his home it wasn't grief, shame and pain that had him in their grips. It was pure anger, hot enough to burn all other feelings out of him. Had he thought for one second that he would have accoplished anything by going for the cursed Aes Sedais' throat, he would have.
There was no way he could keep anger out of his voice, but he made sure he never even raised his voice much above a loud wisper.
-Should be dead, should I! -You want to know how the trollocs failed to kill me back in my village? Why they came so far south? Why they toke me instead of killing me at the inn?
-Could you at least tell me why before you kill me, could you!
Not waiting for an answer Vos started to tell the Aes Sedai about the last five weeks of his life. All from how the wedding had been planed, how happy he had been. Every detail from the night the Trollocs had attacked the village what he could remember from the fighting of that night. How the soldiers had come killing the trollocs, only for him to find out that he had been the only one to survive. His father, mother, wife to be and her family, all dead. Tears were streaming down Vos face when he talked about family and friends, but the rage keept all other emotions at bay, making it posible for him to continue. He told her how he had been asked to join the soldiers, for a chance of revange... How he had decided to leave, never to come back. To try to outrun the memories and the dreams. From the five weeks Vos had wandered the roads he could not remember much. Not more then the urge to move never to stop and rest, barely eating enough to keep going. Finnishing with the events that had taken place at the small inn, what he could remember of the girl Celandine, he noticed that he had clenched his fists at his sides. During the entire time Vos had talked he had never let his eyes lose contact with the eyes of the Aes Sedai. When Vos stopped talking it was like if even rage had become distant. Like if he had had to distance himself from all emotions to have a chance to control them.
-Are you going to tell me why this is happening, or are you just going to kill me?

Broawien stared at the man, unable to break eyecontact, the intesity in his voicewould have kept her from moving anyway. Tears poured down her face as she listened to the boy, and he did seem a boy at the time, tell her what had happened to thevillage he had grown up in, the only surrvivor. He finished all but a drift in his own emotions, Broawien sniffled a little, pulling a hankie out of her sleeve and dabbed her eyes. She pulled another from her other sleeve and handed it to th man she wanted to compose herself before she spoke.
"Child, the pain that you have suffered, would have killed another man. I did not mean I wanted you dead, I meant that you should be dead, you've barely eaten barely slept in the lasst five weeks, and on top of that now you stand here in the woods, with an Aes Sedai who couldnt even fight off Trollocs. Now we need to at least get some rest before we set out to find a road or something."
Broawien reached forthe man's arm, pulling him down beside her, "Rest now, child."

Something snaped inside Vos when the source that had fueled his anger dissipated a bit more for each of Broawiens' words. He felt empty, like he had never felt before. Barely aware of the hand on his arm urging him to lay down. Still with tears filling his eyes Vos was asleap before his head was properly down on the ground.

Broawien awoke to the sound of birds calling in the bright morning. Beside her the man slept, his dark hair stuck to his head and grime was gone in little tracks where his tears had fallen before they slept.
Broawien stood and slowly stretched, with the day light she would be able to at least see if there was a path nearby. Embracing the Source she wove a Bridge of Air so she could get to the tree tops where she might see something. The tree she had chosen to go up was not the tallest, yet still provided snough hieght to get a fairly clear view of the surrounding area. A few miles to the south she could see where the forest gave way to meadows, where they might be able to find a road. To the North all she could see was forest, east and west were as likely as the south.
Calmly walking down her Bridge of Air again, she could see that the man was awakening showing the first signs of life. She had thought that they might behere for days while he rested, but what he really needed was food, she did too, she realized as her stomach growled at her. Once she was on the ground again, she sat on a log, and watched as the man came fully awake.

When Vos woke up the sun had already risen over the brim of the horizon. He could not remember when he had last slept so long in the morning, but still he felt weak. Hunger no longer had him in it's grip. It was as if his body had long ago started to deny any needs at all. Sitting up Vos noticed Broawien, standing, looking at him with an unreadable expression on her face. This was the first time he coud see her clearly. She was not tall, slender, with blond hair and fine features. There were no denial that she was aware of her beuty. Slowly Vos tried to remember what had been said last night. Not able to remember much, he let a wry smile touch his face. He had at least made a bad impression, breaking down and starting to cry like that. Something had changed though, he felt more controled. The sorrow still there, but in the strugle of last night he had come out on top, master of his feelings once again.
Suddenly the awe of being in the presence of an Aes Sedai struck him. Looking up he felt how his face grew red with embarrassment.
-Aes Sedai... -I'm sorry about last night. I... I don't remember everything, but did you know why this has all happened. What is going on?

Read my bio 1st, it explains a lot of this...
Jaisin Sharinen woke with the sun, his eyes grainy from a restless night. They opened very wide suddenly, when he saw a blonde woman descending from a tree seemingly on air! Aes Sedai! Did she know, was she looking for him? He couldn't recall her face, but he had been gone from the tower almost a year so that didn't count for much. He was determined not to move but the thought of breakfast overcame his habitual distance and he crept silently towards where the woman had gone. He stopped at the edge of a clearing, hearing voices just ahead...there was more than one! No, a man...her warder? Jaisin new his skill, but also his limits, and doubted he could take on a warder...Taking a deep breath, he took a step into the clearing...

ooc: I'm assuming that you still have your sword-
At the sound of something approaching, Vos spins around. Before the man has taken even a step inte the clearing Vos has put himself between the stranger and Broawien Sedai. At the sight of the man he realizes what he has done. If the man was there to harm them Vos would have to trust Broawien to protect him. Himself he wouldn't last five seconds against the man. The only thing he could hope for was to buy Broawien the time she needed to act.
Taking a better look at the man, Vos saw that he looked wornout, but still moved with some confidence. Although he had a somewhat unsure exspression on his face.

Seeing the short boy standing in front of him, Jaisin stifled a bitter laugh...this boy was no warder. He took his hand off the long hilt of his masterworked sword, realising that the boy was confronting him. "I mean no harm" he croaked, it had been weeks since he had spoken aloud...he cleared his throat, "I saw the Aes Sedai" he gave the correct bow of a warder trainee to an Aes Sedai "and merely came to see if she needed aid"...His lie sounded loud, he needed food and was starved of companionship. Seeing the boy was not about to drop his aggressive srance, his anger and distrust welled up, "Put up your weapon boy, there is no need to fight, I have said I mean no harm, and I do not break my word."
