Broawien nodded to the Aiel, she was correct, they had to be moving on, especially if the Wise Ones sucpions were true. Looking back at the 'camp' the Aes Sedai saw that Vos had done an excellent job at covering it. "Aleandra is right we had best be moving. Jaisin, you take lead, scout ahead and whatnot. Vos you stick with me, you're not yet fully recovered. Aleandra, you will take up the rear."

Vos was glad that Broawien told him to stay with her. He knew perfectly well that if any trollocs came his only chance of surviving was that she would protect him. Jaisin might be able to defend himself but both himself and Aleandra would need to be protected. And this way Vos could try to speak with Aleandra about the strange dream. Altough he doubted he would get an opportunity, when they were still on the move.
-Where are we heading?
He still had no idea of Broawien's plan, but he wanted to be able to stay with this strange group at least till Aleandra had told him about the dream world.

ooc: can Aes Sedai sense trollocs without bonding or is it part of that?
Jaisin got the feeling that somebody was staring at him as he reached the others. They had just set out and seemed to be in good spirits. He bowed properly to Broawien... "Pardon Aes Sedai. There is nothing to see out there, but my instincts tell me we are not alone..." She could believe him or not, but he had had this kind of feeling before...

Ah, so she had the Stone Dog position. She would have been more familiar with scouting, but these were woods, and she did not know where the aes sedai intended to go. She looked at Vos, she would have to protect him first in case of any attack, Broawien and Jaisin seemed capable of defending themselves, but the boy was vunerable and too valuable.
As she was pondering what kind of weave could protect both him and her (since she couldn't kill without defiling her Wise One status, she would loose much ji. But the Wetlands were a queer place, if anyone dared lay a finger on a Wise One) Jaisin bowed to the Green Aes Sedai and spoke of someone or somehting nearby...Alea stood on the edge of embracing the source, ready for anything, but not giving her position to a probable chaneller. The wetlands did indeed have no honor if Wise Ones had to fight.

OOC: I am not sure on that one Mat, and havent found anything to suggest that they can. Since Broawien is fairly clueless lately I will just go with no, keep things a little more even. Broawien looked at the two standing before her, they felt something was watching them, did they? Broawien felt nothing, but she had never cared for the woods, she always felt uncpmfprtable so far from civilization. "Aleandra, Jaisin, you two scout ahead, be careful, if there is something out there, I dont want either of you hurt." Vos started to pull away but Broawien lightly grabbed his arm, "no, you are staying here. I am more than capable in protecting the two of us. I can keep an eye on our behinds, you two just make sure that our heads dont go rolling. Oh, and Aleandra, let's try to avoid channeling, we dont know who might be out there."
Broawien waited for any arguments but found none as the warder trained man and the Wise One crept silently away. Gliding ahead after the others Broawien slipped her arm through Vos's, "Keep your eyes open boy, I dont know whats going on, but if there is something there, it might be best if we both looked around."

ooc: I think being able to sense trollocs has something to do with being able to channel. Remember Rand sense them before he is bonded. Broawien might not know what it is she senses though, if she has had little contact with trollocs before. The same goes for Aleandra I guess.
Vos grinded his teath, so much for Aleandra needing protection. How could he have missed that she was Aes Sedai as well. After all she did behave just as composed and confident as Broawien. It was just that Jaisin's was on the verge of rude towards Aleandra and Vos could not belive he would act that way towards an Aes Sedai, and she didn't wear her ring either. All this didn't really matter though. Broawien had clearly said that Aleandra could channel, then she was an Aes Sedai. Suddenly Vos didn't really mind not being able to talk to Aleandra about the strange dream. Better to be careful around Aes Sedai, and maybe even more so when she did hide what she was.
When they started to walk, Vos keept silent and watched the forest. Questions just seamed to be ignored anyway.

[glow=red,2,300]I am pretty sure that Tinker is correct in his assumption that the channeling ability gives the ability to sense shadowspawn. However, I think that you need to actually hold The Power in order to do so. And, the ability only works on shadowspawn, not darkfriends.[/glow]

ooc: maybe, but in EotW, Moiraine runs out of the winespring in with Lan, shouting that there are trollocs. Maybe Lan told her, she prob wasn't channelling...
Forced into the company of the Aiel, Jaisin stayed silent as they moved quietly forward, scanning the shadows in front and to the sides. A shadow flitted ahead and he put his hand on the Aiels arm. "did you see that? We're not alone."

" Did you see that? We're not alone"
As Jaisin wispered she noticed a black shadow on the verge of her vision. The man was right...but it felt...wrong...silently taking out her Aiel dagger, in case it was shadowspawn. It was Aiel duty to kill any of Sight blinder's progeny, be they Wise One or cloth weaver. She motioned with her hands to Jaisin that they should protect each other's back, but quickly remembered that she wasn't on a scouting mission with other Maidens. She wispered as lowly as she could, but it still seemed too loud to her ears.
"We should watch each other's back, but what about Broawien and Vos?"

"What about Broawien and Vos?" Jaisin drew his sword with a slight steely hiss, mulling over the best option. He sighed," We have to go back to them, if there is shadowspawn out there, we all need to be together to survive. Keep your eyes on the forest and start back towards them. I'm right behind you." He waited until she had turned around, dagger in hand, before following, keeping his head in constant motion, surveying all around him. There was at least one thing out there, and his sharp eyes caught glimpses of other furtive movements to the left. But, they managed to reach Broawien and Vos unscathed, and Jaisin began to doubt himself...Maybe your just seeing things, he berated himself...

Aleandra and Jaisin arrived to the aes-sedai and the boys side, finaly. She still had the feeling of a dirty oily gaze glued to her back between the shoulder blades, unreachable. "Aes Sedai, there is something ahead...i do not know what it is...but be wary..." She glanced at Vos, making sure he understood they may be in danger...

Vos tensed slightly when he saw Jaisin and Aleandra Sedai return with weapons drawn. Jaisin had his sword out and seemed almost to be watching all directions at once. Aleandra on the other hand looked like nothing was out of the ordinary, she just happened to choose to hold her dagger ready. Vos fervently wished that he had had something to deffend himself with. Now if something would happen he would just be something more the others had to worry about. If he was lucky that was otherwise they just would not care what happened to him. That was more likely he realised, after all they had only just come across eachother. Vos decided he could not trust the others to protect him. He had to find some way to survive on his own.

On reaching the others, Jaisin saw fear in Vos' eyes. Sighing to himself, he reached behind his belt and took out his foot-long knife. "Take this Vos, you're going to need something and I feel there won't be time to look for a good stick...". The boy looked grateful, but a little unsure, and he held the knife a bit awkwardly. "Alright everybody, let's get to the centre of this clearing and look outwards, we all need to be alert. Vos on my right, Aleandra, you on my left, Broawien...". He trailed off at the look of both the Aiel and the Aes Sedai, who were looking at him in a Who put you in charge kind of way. Bloody Women, Jaisin thought, Now isn't the time for argument. "Broawien you stand behind me! Well, come on, our lives may be at stake!".

Broawien glared at the assuming man, and whirled around putting her back to his, watching as much as she could. She had never liked the woods, to many things moved at once to tell if there was anything out there.
Her eyes caught movement but she couldnt see what it was, again, leaves mo ved, but she could not feel any wind. Broawien reached back and found Jaisin's free hand giving it a squeeze, whispering that she had seen something.

Jaisin's senses were on high alert, and he jumped as his hand was squeezed, but kept his eyes outwards as Broawien whispered that there was movement on her side. The clearing was almost square, with Vos facing the densest brush, put there as it was the least likely place for an attack to come from. The other three sides were fairly comparable, but Jaisin judged that the two women could look after themselves. He was about to reply when he saw movement in the trees in front. He heard harsh guttural whispering to his left, on the AIel's side. The movement ahead of him coalesced into a form just outside the clearing, a hideous melange of man and beast, fully seven foot tall, with goat horns and a muzzle, but human eyes. A black mail shirt hung to it's knees, adorned with spikes and a horned skull marking. A Trolloc, Dha'vol!!! It clearly thought it was out of sight, and the care taken by the attackers led Jaisin to believe it was a small force, probably only six or so if there was only one on this entire side.
Suddenly a brassy note rang out and a bestial howl escaped from the throat of the trolloc in front of him. He heard similar noises to his left, and hoped the Aiel could hold off her side. "KEEP TOGETHER!!" He yelled, assuming the void. The Aes Sedai could probably take care of the whole attack herself, but Jaisin didn't aim to let her. All this flashed through his mind in the seconds it took for the trolloc to cross the clearing, then he was forced to parry a clumsy downward slash of the creatures scythe-like sword. He quickly led into boar rushing down the mountains, the void keeping the fear from his belly...
