I've only read WoT Cant make it throught LoTR with out pchickening out ten or twelve times.............. ;D Whooo... me too! Darn it, took me months and months, LOTR... lol, took me 3 months to read 9 of WoT! Hmmmm, must buy New Spring... *checks pockets* poopiepants! I'm broke! Hey, Minya, nice look to the place... I like it! Oh, and I never thought it'd be so popular, this thing! Thread, I mean. |

well, you know...all threads are bombarded with posts...most of which have nothing to do with the initial topic. Actually, i've noticed that this is the longest thread that has maintained posts about the subject...

Think I have read LOTR four or five times, but I'm only doing my first reread of WoT, and am in the middle of LoC.
Must consider if I should get the first two books in English.

i LOVE the wheel of time books and i was just barly able to sit still long enough to read the end of the return of the king, i LOVE the movies

Majsju: I wasn't thinking at all, got the first books in swedish from my grandmother. Back in those old days I wasn't used to reading in english.
Calenfalathiel: Swedish of course, is there a greater language? Oh.. and I read the Hobbit in german once. But you should really try Geothe in german, that's more of a challange.

I started eading one of them a long time ago...i think i got through the first chapter and it was boring. I didnt like the style of writing.
