Have any of you guys ever read this book by Ursula K. LeGuin? Or, better yet, have you read its sequels? The first one is written in a somewhat stand-off-ish manner, but it's still really cool, and Sparrowhawk is definitely my favourite wizard character ever.
The second book doesn't really feature him that prominently in it for a while, but he's still totally awesome when he does show up.
It's the third book, though, that's the best, in my opinion. The Farthest Shore is incredibly awesome. It's this book that makes Sparrowhawk cooler than, say, Gandalf. He is just awesome in it.
So have any of you ever read it?

I read it and i saw the tv production of it...honestly I didn't enjoy either of them. I thought it was a little cliched, i don't know...i left me 'wanting' more

Did you just read the first one, or did you move on?
And the TV production was horrible, and Ursula K. LeGuin was furious at its complete disregard for what she had written down. Like, it deviated from the actual story around as much (at least) as Eragon deviated from the book.
