At the moment I'm reading Steven Eriksons' "A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen". And I would have to say that it's among the best fantasy I've ever read.

I am currently reading The Wayfarer Redemption series. 5 books in the series. A very good series. Hey Minya, did you ever finish the series by Elizabeth Haydon? I havent read the last book yet, although I have had it forever. I need to buy the last book in the series of Sword of Truth Series. My fav set by far!

I'm currently reading His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. I haven't decided how much I actually like it yet.

[re]reading Morgoth's Ring, the History of Middle-earth, Underworld, by Graham Hancock, and The Dark Angel, by John Connolly. After some digging, I've discovered better writers on Tolkien fanfiction sites than any published authors save Tolkien himself, just a da*n shame they can't be published as they knock spots of 99 % of the published works out there.

I'm reading Star Wars: Dark Force Rising by Timothy Zahn, which is a pretty sweet book--it's the second book in the trilogy that more or less single-handedly rekindled interest in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. And it's aided by the fact that Zahn is an amazing author, which is why I have as many of his books as I can simultaneously find and afford.
After that, I'm going to read the third in the series, and then, who knows?

Lol, Minya. I'm just about done Star Wars: Dark Force Rising right now--if I didn't have school, I could read the whole trilogy in one day--it's only like 950 pages total. It's pretty short, compared to WoT, at least.
However, I cannot, for the life of me, read multiple books simultaneously, unless it's like school stuff, in which case I don't need to read it all at once anyway. I (sort of) envy you that. ^_^
