I was wondering if anyone here has read any of Neil Gaiman's books??? He is a wonderful fantasy author that was recommended to me about a month ago and being the geek I am, I went out right away to find some of his works. The two books I have read are Stardust and Neverwhere, which I HIGHLY recommended. These are two of the most exciting books that I have seen in a while. VERY GOOD!!! And also (for any fans out there) I just found out that Stardust is being made into a movie!! Which is very exciting for me since that was my favorite of the two. I want to put out my recommendation/question for fantasy fans out there. ;D So anyone??

So far I've read... Neverwhere where a man named Richard Mayhew gets thrown into the world of 'London Below' after finding a girl bleeding on the street. This london is filled with monsters, murder, angels, betrayal, and secrets. He bands together with some of the local residents to help solve the murder of a girl's family. and Stardust which is a very cute yet adult fairy tale which revolves around one man and the blessing bestowed upon his house which is that he and his children will be granted their hearts desire. It follows that mans son going on a journey to recover a fallen star for a woman inorder to win her hand in marriage. On his journey there are a few twists and turns in the plot and characters who seem to be unconnected to eachother end up with surprising relationships. I'm looking in to aquiring a few more of his books sooner or later but now I'm preoccupied with a few other series that I started....

R.A. Salvatore wrote the novelization of Attack of the Clones, which is where I first heard of him.
He also writes The Forgotten Realms books, or at least, some of them. I think he wrote The Hunter's Blades trilogy, which are like 60% of the FR books that I've read.

Lol, Elentari. I want to read more Forgotten Realms books--I haven't read any of the first ones, like the ones where Drizzt is introduced. Instead, I read up about it online one day so that I didn't get completely confused when I read The Hunter's Blades trilogy. It was confusing enough as it was, though.

Did you enjoy them? I really want to get into this series but I don't know if it's worth my time? I read the first trilogy (though its not the first one to be written) called the Dark Elf Trilogy and so now I really want to get the others because I really liked these....any suggestions?

I'm afraid that I can't help you out with which ones are good to read--I've only read the Hunter's Blades trilogy and two other totally random books that I can't even remember the names of. However, I've been told by a number of friends that the series is really worth it, so I'm going to try and get into it.
