The title is pretty self-explaining, ok. If it clogs up, I might separate IC from OOC discussions in the future, perhaps wot from lotr as well, depending on how much posting that's going on here.

Hmmm...i've never don an RPG before and as far as the character goes, i'm not sure what information I need for the bio. Is there any way you could make some sort of form that we can copy and paste and fill in with the information?

Age:
Description of what the character looks like, physical abilities and such.
Background: Where does the character come from? Some relevant history (work? position in society? a little about what the character has been up to earlier...)
Use this for a start, if I see reason for adding stuff, I'll give more precise instructions on the individual cases.

J'ai une question....For the LotR Rpg, what are the races that you recommend for the storyline that you're working on? Also, same question for WoT, and also maybe a short description of each race because I don't know anything about them and what they are. Nonetheless, I'll give the WoT RPG a try.

for lotr I recommend either humans or elves for a start. If it gets successful we could try having some people play as bad guys, but not initially. And no hobbits, they'd most likely get killed before the end of pg 2...
WOT: humans. considering the peaceful nature of ogier they wouldn't contribute very much except being watchers. And no Aiel or Seanchan!

I'd like to be an elf, but there are countless amounts of kinds of elves...what age will this RP be in for LotR and what kinds of elves will be in it? Maybe you could give a short summary of the story you're working out, because I really don't know what's appropriate and what's not for my character...  |

I haven't set an exact time for it, on purpose, cause then it's impossible to being in characters from the books  (and it also gives me more freedom to play around a little) Although, it will be when Morgoth is the baddie, not Sauron. And I'll put up an introduction soon... |

alright, well i'm in the middle of reading the Silmarillion so I guess that will help me with the lotr RPG.
I'll try to do as much of my bio that I can, but it might be a little vague since I'm not sure what we're doing, k?

I don't have the exact details yet, but somekind of rescue-mission (or somewhat similar) to an elven/human outpost/village...I want to see a little about what kinds of characters there will be before i definitly decide stuff.
