Well, right then, what would you recommend for the WoT rpg so that it fits in well with your storyline?

Well, first of all, a character from the "mainland". I prefer if you don't specify nations, for two reasons. One is that I haven't decided when this is taking place, it's either the same as before, a few years after Arthur hawkwings death, or during the trolloc wars. It works with both, I'm just trying to figure out which one gives the best possibilities. The other reason is simply that it's easier to handle the character. You can state in your bio which nation of the ones existing today the character comes from though.
So just use common sense and good judgement according to the timeline, and what we know about the different races and people: no asha'man, no seanchan, no aiel, no ogier etc.
Also, special abilities such as wolfbrothers, dreamers (for AS), and similar must be approved by me.

Ok, about the LotR one...the thing is I'm having a hard time because I've never done an RPG before and also, I don't know what kind of character I can do so that it fits well with the storyline. I don't want to make up one and then it not work. You said that elves and men are recommended earlier? If that's the case, what time period is it and what is going on during that time? That way I can decide what type of elf I am and where I'm from. It's just I can't make a history about my character without knowing what's going on. Sorry about any inconvenience.

I'm not gonna give you an exact time, simply because I don't want anyone to use real characters from that time. However, what I will say is that it will take place when Morgoth is the enemy, not Sauron. That makes it a world constantly at war, more or less intenseive.

*scratches head* i think you just send him and IM/PM with your character's profile/bio and then he'll say whether it works or not

Ah, seeing as how he hasn't responded yet, I suggest you send that message to him via Private Message. He tends to check those more than actual threads. just a suggestion.
