I've seen some rumours lately...
So what do you think? Myself I think it will end up with three more books.

I think that RJ really wants to end it in two more books. But I can't see that happen. Just look at how the world stands atm, how many plots that have to be solved before the main battle of Tarmon Gaidon can take place.
Perrin-Faile, Egwene-Elaida-Seanchan, Rand-Suroth, Rand & Logain-Taim, Cadsuane-Ashaman, Elayne securing the throne (that might not seem necessary to solve in itself, but Elayne is stupid enough to refuse to aid Rand if she hasn't secured the Lion Throne, Mat-Tuon, the Band of The Red Hand (No way RJ creates such thing without meaning to use them, and right now they're kinda stuck in the middle of nowhere)...and a bunch of other stuff.
Just solving all that should take at least one large book, +1000 pages. And knowing RJ, that's not gonna happen, it's just too much, and there would be no room for baths, talks about dresses and such...
I put my two cents on three more books. And I kinda hope for that as well. Sure, I want it to end now. But since 13 is an important number in the series, it would make sense to have 13 books.

Yup, he's gonna finish the two last main novels first, then write the two remaining prequels. And well, he also said that the work with KoD goes well, so maybe he'll actually manages to wrap things up and finish the bloody thing in two books. But, I'll believe that when I've read the very definitive final chapter.
