The White Tower is now under construction, so feel free to drop in and look around. The Halls may seem a little empty right now, but hopefully it won't take to long before they're crowded with Aes sedai bullying novices and accepted around, and a few Gaidin strolling around as well.
I'll put up a Novice Book soon, where you who wish to be a part of The White Tower can sign up. I haven't really figured out how to deal with the raisings, ranks and stuff, but I will. If you have any ideas, let me know, ok.
ATM I guess I'm the Amyrlin. But if someone calls me mumsie I'll feed that poor soul to the trollocs! This means that it's obviously not gender based here. Men can be Aes Sedai, women can be warders.
Oh, and this is the thread where you can discuss what stuff we should have in the White Tower. So go ahead and post.

Would it not be appropriate to have something like "the Amyrlins Study" where people could come making sugestions or ask questions.
People would of course also dread being called to the Amyrlins study...

Well, if you read the last sentence in my initial post, this is the thread for suggestions. I don't really see any reason for puting up another thread for that purpose, especially since that would make this thread somewhat useless. I don't really like the idea of jamming the WT with loads and loads of threads, at least not until there are more members, which would make it necessary. But for now, put your ideas and suggestions here, or if you don't want anyone to see, pm me.

No I see your point, but I thought of it more like changing the name on this thread, or replacing it. The heart of the White Tower is said to be the Amyrlins Study, so just thought it could make sence to have a thread with the name. Just a thought though.

Well, I see your point. However, going about changing names in order to get closer to the books somewhat indicatesa move towaqrds rpg, and I want to keep the White Tower pretty much free from that (except for the WT bar which is pretty much up for that very reason, to happily rp and spam away so the rest of the tower can have a more serious attitude).

Alright, so being the first novice I thought that I should at least put forth some effort toward being raised.....
So here's my thread Idea.....
At first I thought that we might want/need a Mistress of the Novices Study, but seeing as how I dont want to be in it all the time and the only one posting, I decided to give it more thought...
And this is what I came up with: Weaves. not like a class setting, i guess but more of a theories and thoughts on it. like where does the One Power that you use to do weaves come from, is it internal, is it from all around you, is it simply there? you know that sort of thing.
I thought it was a good idea, something that is uniquely White Tower. Anways You can stillgo with the MoN's Study just so long as I dont have to stay there for long...

Well, if enough members join that I have to create a MoN there might be a study, but right now I don't feel that it would do any good.
The OP thread however, is an interesting one, will put it up tomorrow, so everyone, contribute to it

Did you try The Novice Book, which is were you're supposed to post? In that case it's weird that it didn't work.
If you tried to post at Members, however, it's because I locked it so only I can post there. I want to keep it "clean", in the sense of being a members-list Only.
Anyhoo, welcome. If you got any ideas of things to add to the Tower, just let me know.

yeah, i did try to post in the novice book, and it still wont let me in there... dont know why... *kicks computer loudly*
do you mind if i post here instead of in the novice book until my computer lets me go in there? i dont know what the problem is, it doesnt say that thread is locked...

That thread isn't locked. And I can't think of a reasonable explanation, since you can post here...maybe Minya is messing with things just to give me a headache *sighs*
