Kamiri stretched her arms, watching the other competitor preparing for her shots. Glancing down at her own quiver which leans against the bench beside her, she mentally chose the arrows she would use when her own turn came

Getting tired of waiting, Kamiri decided to take her own prctice shots. Moving up to the line, she experimentally stretched the bowstring a few times, before choosing her arrow and notching it on. In one fluid motion, she raised the bow and stretched the string back to her ear. Her stance was strong, and she felt with all her muscles that everything was right. Clearing her mind carefully and blocking out distractions, she let her first arrow fly, racing through the air to land with a soft thock embedded in the center of the target. With a satisfied nod, Kamiri chose her second arrow, straightening the feathers. She repeated each movement with grace, each move having been practiced for days on end for years. She felt herself smiling as this one flew towards the target, embedding itself right next to the first. She glanced back down the range, eyes marking out the 100 yard line, where she would be firing from on the last arrows, and gave a nod. Everything was going perfectly.

Boromir knocks an arrow and aims for the target before him. He pulls the string back with the arrow and releases it. A wisp passed along with a subtle buzz as the arrow zipped through the air and landed on the ring just outside of the center target

Kamiri turns to grin at Boromir, lowering her own bow and shouldering her quiver to move away from the line, making room for other competitors to take their practice shots

Minya waits for Boromir to finish then steps up beside him and takes a go. After releasing the arrow, she watches it speed and land smartly near the center of the target I'm a bit rusty I see.
