Is this supposed to be obvious? I'm just rereading book8 (PoD) so can't remember if this comes out in the open later When he's leading one of Rand's 5 columns against the Seanchan, him and the Stormleader guy (Gedwyn?) are talking and arguing at the head of the line, and when Bertome (the Cairhenin) approaches, Weiramon is saying "I won't take any more risks without a direct order from...", he sees Bertome and shuts up, and Bertome sees that he wants to kill him. Then some Altarans appear, and he charges off, saying something like " you can kill in your way, and I'll kill in mine...". We later find out the storm leader is a DF, right, so I made the connection. Opinions? Could he be talking about a direct order from Rand? If he is a DF, is his stupidity a mask. We know from book 2 or 3 when Bors is at the big DF meeting that one of the Tairen High Lords is a DF, and there is no evidence of it being anyone else, is there?

Well, there are definitly hints that points at Weiramon being a df. But the situation you mention could also mean that Weiramon is a coward, something we've seen earlier in the books.
Keep in mind that RJ just loves to trick us with his red herrings. Weiramon is definitly a rotten apple, but somehow he seems to be more "evil" because he strives for personal gain, than from being a df. He could of course be manipulated by someone.

He does seem stupid enough to be manipulated by somebody, but one of those high lords is a Darkfriend and I'm going to find out who!!!!!! He's the only lead I've got... (sorry, not logged in)

Isn't there a number of high lords of whom we don't know much at all? Just saying the darkfriend could be someone we are not familiar with. I guess Bors could have been wrong about there being a highlord on the meeting... That would sure mean we have been handed useless info.
[EDIT]I'm on book seven, so my memories are even less to be trusted[/EDIT]
