So...who's looking forward to A Memory of Light? What are your hopes--and fears--for it? What do you think will take place in it (besides Tarmon Gai'don, lol)? etc., etc. Discuss it all here. As I see it, things that need to happen in the book are these: Mat, Thom, and Noal/Jain need to rescue Moiraine Perrin needs to get back to Rand Egwene needs to stabilize the White Tower Mat needs to get the Horn of Valere back Rand needs to forge a truce with the Seanchan, which Mat will probably be involved in Mat needs to kill the Gholam Elayne needs to have her babies Cadsuane needs to teach Rand & his Asha'man their lesson Tam needs to learn that Rand is the Dragon Reborn Logain needs to gain great glory, as Min foresaw Galad needs to ally with Rand Gawyn needs to come to terms with Rand Mat needs to meet up with Rand, along with the rest of the Band of the Red Hand Lan needs to reach Tarwin's Gap with his followers of the Golden Crane that Nynaeve is gathering for him Mat needs to use his Dragons And that's all I can think of right now. If I forgot anything, let me know.

personally i think Memory of Light will be a book to remember....if it gets done. I'm a little worried about RJs condition, but you got to think about his health over the books of course. I hope hope hope hope it gets done, my fear is that it won't. But! It's such a "on the edge of your seat" sort of thing. I can't wait! And don't they still have to at least imply that aviendha is pregnant? i thought she was forseen to have triplets or something....and min too. I thought she had seen that at some point....hmm...

Yeah. I'm very frightened that the book might not be finished.
Oh yeah, it does have to be implied that Aviendha is pregnant--she's going to have four of Rand's kids, after all.
I've read a couple of other series where the author died before finishing the last book, and they're like eternal cliffhangers. I'm happy RJ is doing [relatively] well, though. I know he wants to finish A Memory of Light before he dies, too.
