If you picked up on the little details (as i think i may have), you'll notice more things that hint toward movie three. Now, i'm going to re-see the movie to make sure I got all this right and wasn't just seeing things...but here's what I think so far:
Tia Dalma[/u]- I believe she may be the one that Davy Jones lost a while ago. The woman he loved. Either that, or a blood relative. My reasons? In the scene where Jack Sparrow goes to visit her, he steals little trinckets while she's not looking. At one point, his hand dashes to the table where he grabs a ring or something, and by that ring there was a locket very similar to that of Davy Jones'. Now, I may be mistaken so again I'll watch it a second time to make sure. But, if you notice...why else would they zoom in on it if it had no significance? Not to mention, Davy Jones was ALWAYS focusing on that locket when he was by himself. Not to mention, don't you wonder how Tia Dalma knows so much about Davy Jones? More than Jack Sparrow who's known the guy for years! Therefore, I have reason to believe something must have happened that would have connected them in the past. Face it, something IS going to happen about this love story of his.
Jack Sparrow[/u]- No, he's not dead. I REFUSE to believe he's dead. If Disney wanted you to KNOW he was dead, they would have shown it plain and clear. The fact that they didn't actually show him die leads me to believe he still lives. THOUGH, it was brought to my attention that he may have died, and if so, only to bring him to Davy Jones' locker. That would make sense. Perhaps then there would be another mighty encounter between the two. I personally don't think he's dead, but if Disney IS going to kill him off, they'll do it as mentionned before. What I mean is, he'll still be a character in the third film so I wouldn't worry for all those die-hard Jack fans.
Norrington[/u]- Now, I believe Norrington IS selling them out, basically to get his job back. I think he may be trading the heart to regain his dignity (by means of his title as commodore or perhaps a higher rank) and to get all marks against him cleared. Basically, I don't think he'll be the ruffian he was in POTC 2, and will become more refined like he was in the first movie. I'm not too sure about this one though.
Will & Elizabeth[/u]- They'll marry, I know they will, mainly because I saw pirated pictures of the wedding scene a while ago. (haha...pirated). Anyways, they ended alright in the second movie but after will saw Elizabeth kissing Jack, we KNOW there's going to be some drama there. I'm not sure what it will be but, I can say to expect that.
Barbossa[/u]- HE'S BACK! (the scene where the monkey runs off when released from the cage after being given to Tia by Jack, shows Barbossa's boots/feet in the corner. Another Disney trick of foreshadowing). We all know this one. He's going to captain a ship and go to "Di end of di Ert". Now, I think he'll somehow end up helping Jack..saving him or something. That would be strange, I admit that, but...I don't know...something tells me that might happen. (Maybe 'cause it was hinted? haha). Really, I don't have much of a guess one this one.
The heart[/u]- So, where will this end up and with who? I'm not quite sure, but SOMETHING has to happen to set Will's father free. And SOMETHING has to happen to reunite Davy Jones with his love (possibly Tia or something like that). The trading company has the heart right now, so we know that the major conflict will be retreiving it from them. I have a feeling norrington may be the 'bad guy' in the third film in charge of this or something.
As for other theories...i'll get them down here later. What do you guys think?
