Haven't seen it yet but to be honest the only thing I liked about the first one was Johnny Depp's performance. Having said that I saw sea monsters on the poster for this one so maybe it'll make me happy.

Yes, they have a kraken in the second one, which was kind of cool. More so if I hadn't of seen kraken's in a few other things recently. Johnny Depp's performance was just as good as in the first.
