I'm trying to decide whether I should make time to read some of them or not. So do you like them? Are they good? Are they bad? Do they make you look upside down out of your window thinking about the piping system of your kitchen sink?...*cough*...So yesh, any reviews or whatever'd be muchly appreciated!

Erm, they're interesting if you like the more technical aspects of his writing, and seeing how the story, characters, and places evolved over the years he spent writing LOTR. However, unlike Unfinished Tales, they are not as easy to read and aren't as story oriented. Mind you, there are 2 or 3 I haven't read, so maybe there's something different in then? But really, it depends on your reading preference... Writers might be more interested in it than just readers.

I'm reading the Book of Lost Tales now, I loves it! It's quite interesting, and with all this new knowledge of Arda I can confuse people even more with my Middle-earth Ramblings! Mwhahaha!

Lol, I've read the Books of Lost Tales, but none of the others, and I really want to. I hate the fact that I haven't read them yet.

*gasps* No Tolkien stuff in two years? Wow. I could never have that restraint. That strength of will. I love Tolkien's books.

I've just gotten so busy lately and in my spare time, I never remember to read. I used to read like a madman in my middle school days.....but it's almost the end of the school year so I'll probably be able to pick up reading again. hopefully!

Lol, good for you, Calenfalathiel. I'm rereading WoT right now, so I haven't read any LotR stuff in a month or two, so I can't be too harsh on you. ^_^
Yeah, Haldir--I am indeed Aerandir from the Arwen-Undomiel.com Forums. ^_^ I'm guessing you're on there too--what's your username on it?
