"Seward's Follie," a new internet band being formed by myself and a few friends is now holding auditions @ www.youtube.com/sewardsfollie . If you know how to play the guitar, drums, maybe even trumpet etc. feel free to audition there! Only experienced musicians however! How? You'll have to get a youtube account but that's rather simple! Just sign up at...well...www.youtube.com!
Requirements:
1. Must be cool (hahahaha)
2. Must play an instrument (preferably one of the above! but if you think we'd be interested in anything else, feel free to try)
3. Must have internet access (which hopefully you do if you're reading this haha) and a way to record your instrument online/send a file with your recording to us
4. Must have a way for us to contact you (email, IM, nothing personal)
5. Must be an active band member who will have assignments done on time
6. Must keep in mind Seward's Follie isn't striving for fame, we're not trying to achieve commercial success, this is just a small project that I thought would be fun/interesting to do
How to audition:
Easy, join youtube, send/attach a video or audio file to our youtube account listed above with whatever instrumental talent you have to show. We'll review it and let you know as soon as possible. We'll probably have more details on the web later. As for our genre, it's an experimental band so our songs will vary in genre depending on what we feel like writing at the moment
