Anyone here against it? First of all, it's pathetic that people need a DAY to show love to someone. Why aren't they doing it everyday? Why aren't they doing it without having to be told or reminded? Second of all, what about those people out there who are always single? The poor little guys, the holiday practically shuns them. Thirdly, what is up with all this marketing? Chocolates and roses? Come oooOOOooon guys, get a little creative. Seriously. Not to mention the expectations for the night >.>. What a waste of a holiday. Anyone agree?

valentines day is my boyfriends birthday. teehee  lol, anyways im a hopeless romantic... so i kinda like it. but with the marketing... its the same as christmas really. and if youre single... you can hang out w friends or soemthing. |

Well ok, so here's the deal. I've never had any relationships so obviously I can't really relate to the holiday. But, I'm okay with other people in relationships celebrating because it's a good idea. In reality, however, Valentine's Day is really just a commercialized event where people buy tons of candy, gifts, and flowers just because they feel forced to. And I definitely think love should be celebrated year-round...  |

I like v-day. I have been single for over a year know but I still find it cute, I love getting roses and well I don't like chocolate very much. I still celebrate it with my family an friends. My friends and I pass out cards to each other and my dad often get me a bag of my fave candy and a flower. Sure you should let some one know you love them every day but you can't very well give them candy and flowers everyday. Unless your rich.
