something amusing happened about five minutes ago (in the time frame relating to this post).
i had decided to come home before a chemistry lecture (something that i do not normally do). i had therefore let myself into the house, turned off the alarm, and was upstairs.
i heard someone turning keys in the front door, and was rather surprised, as my parents should not be returning at that time. i then heard the person fumbling with the keys in a way that neither of my parents would do, as if they were unsure which one fitted which lock.
i then heard them cautiously enter, and so wondered what to do. this was made more interesting by the fact that i was in the room facing towards the downstairs front door, and so i could not change location or observe without being noticed.
i therefore decided to leave the room and see who was down there (there was the high chance that it was a stray relative, or that something interesing might happen).
when i left the room, i saw that it was definitely neither relative. the figure went 'what?' as though my appearance was as unexpected as his, and i realised that it was the person that had bought our previous house.
he then explained that he had left his keys at home, and had borrowed my fathers house keys so that he could borrow the spares for his house (that we presumably have in case he forgets his).
it was all rather anticlimactic.

my aunt has just come to visit.
it is not that i dislike her, it is just that she is amazingly thoughtless
as soon as she is told that i have been ill, she begins acting as if i am infectious, and then asks if i had meazles.
i think that that is quite unfair, i only have four spots, and since i don't normally get spots, i was rather hoping that no one had noticed them.
she then insulted what i was wearing, the speed of my computer, my computer software, and my old gcse art pieces. all this in the first minute of entering.
does she really not wonder why i never go to stay with her when she invites me to?

its weird. all the forums and so forth that i join seem to die after a while.
maybe it's my fault
or maybe its just the nature of the internet. things die out. it probably didn't help that schools learnt to block forums.
