"Red Eagle Entertainment, the company which owns much of the non-literary rights to the WHEEL OF TIME, has launched their official website, as well as announced that they plan to produce a movie based on THE EYE OF THE WORLD.
Red Eagle is a franchise management company. They will seek out funding for the movie, and bring on a production company to actually make the movie. it it our understanding that they will not actually produce it themselves.
Red Eagle Entertainment is also working closely with Dabel Brothers productions to produce the NEW SPRING graphic novel"

Yes, I am just starting to read WoT. I'm on book four now. I can't believe how into it I've gotten. ;D I can't wait to see it as a movie, though I think I'd be just as happy leaving it as just books.

What's wrong with Crossroads of Twilight? Is it sad or merely disappointing?

it's just reeeeeeeeeally boring. Absolutely nothing happens....at all! It's all just people talking. "Blah blah blah blah blah". Basically, you're still at the same point of the series as you were in Winter's Heart. It's a pointless book, and I don't really see it's purpose in the series.

Ah... Well... I'll still read it. lol I was wondering what was wrong with it since it's the only one in the series I see for sale everywhere. Haha

I just want to point out that this does NOT mean that a movie actually will be made. Red Eagle owns the Rights to produce a movie, but there's a lot of things needed before they can even think about getting started. Funding being the main issue.
And don't worry about Crossroads Of Twilight, it's a decent book, with an obvious part to play in the series. Some really important things happen that builds up for the next book (which will be out SO soon:))

Well you're right, CoT does have a lot of needed information, but it's still fairly boring.
