long story, but here goes
i'm majoring in biology. i had intended to major in natural sciences (with an emphasis on biology/zoology), but only four universities do natural sciences that i wanted to go to. we're allowed to apply to five, so i added one for biology on the end. most of the offers were ok, but i ended up putting the offer for biology as my insurance offer, because they only wanted ABB, with one of them in biology, and since i'm doing five A levels, that shouldn't be all that difficult. i failed to get the grades needed for my first choice (cambridge), because i was 10 UMS marks below an A in chemistry (which was specified as needed for the course). i'm therefore stuck doing biology.
the reason that i was going for natural sciences is that i'm doing chemistry, physics, biology and maths A levels. i don't want to be a doctor, i can't be a vet as i'm allergic to some furry animals, and i can't join the army as i have asthma.
i'm not sure what i want to do when i'm older, so i thought natural sciences would give me some more time to choose, as you specialise after the first year
bet you're sorry you asked now ;D

haha no 'cause mine is kind of similar. I started out as neuroscience though and took all these biology courses but then realized i didn't like them and there's a whole mess about why doing neuro wouldn't work but it's similar to your situation

Archaeology, focusing on Mesoamerican people. Thinking about doing a dissertation on Aztec warfare.
I've always liked history and I've always liked Mesoamerica. The only other part of the world that I would be interested in doing is China, but its a bit too crowded for my tastes.
