It's possibly just you.  A lot of other trilogy type movies have done the same thing, particularly in the fantasy genre. Take LOTR, for example. They came out one after another, like that. Even Harry Potter did when they shot movies back to back. |

No no, shooting back to back is fine...but Lotr for example (what you used), released a movie every december for three years. POTC is releasing the 3rd just a few months after the 2nd was released.

it's supposedly coming out in May 2007 and is officially titled "At World's End" ....but you know, it's been 'officially' titled a million different times so...

Hehe. I'm only half-heartedly looking forward to this. Dead Man's Chest was really lame, so I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to like At World's End.

yeah Dead Man's Chest was kinda lame, but i'm hoping there'll be some great twist or SOMETHING to redeem this movie at the end. Nothing can beat the first movie though.

Lol. Personally, I think LotR and Gladiator, plus the Original Star Wars movies, all beat PotC.  Revenge of the Sith does, too. |

POTC was brilliant, POTC2 was good, and i think POTC3 will be ok, Gladiator was horrible

I just saw AWE, what are everyone's thoughts?? What did you like/dislike? I myself have a few objections to some of the things that happened, but overall it was good. I'm a little upset though because it wasn't as good as I had anticipated...what do you guys think?
