Yeah, when I first heard that they were making two movies after the first one, I was like "Wha? ? ? ? ?"....as in, I'm not sure that's a good thing because it will be hard for the sequels to exceed or even be as good as the first one.

i think they should just make a sequel first, see how that works, and if it's a succes go for a third, if not , then end it there

Yeah, that's what I think, too. Tons of people will probably go see the second one because of Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, plus the fact that the first was amazingly good, but if it is awful... Only diehard fans will stick it out for the 3rd and it would be a waste of time and money for the studio... and the actors.

Yes I agree...I don't think it's a very good idea to film 2 and 3 at the same time...getting a bit ahead of themselves, kinda
