It's people like us who have to keep the LOTR spirit alive!! I am scared too that beginning after November this year (that's when the ROTK:EE is due out) all the hype will fade away. My life has been comprimised mainly of LOTR for the past 3 years and I am not going to stop now!

Evenstar, can you top this? Do you have a standee? Muwahahahaha! I am lucky enough to have Aragorn... all 6 feet of him. You can't be a fan and not be obsessed... If someone says that we are pitiful it's just because they cannot comprehend Tolkien's world and most likely never will be able to! Uh... how do I get my little picture thingie to work??

I know what you all mean. I go to a pretty big school, but there are almost no REAL LOTR fans. It's really depressing. I mean here I am, wearing a LOTR shirt , things like "I love Aragorn" written all over my hand, writing a letter in Elvish to my boyfriend and people have the nerve to call me pathetic!! Okay, maybe I do deserve it just a little bit, but it is nice to finally find some people who share my common interest. I personally believe that if you can see all the movies and still not be as obsessed as we are, then you don't really comprehend what the movie is about and the different levels there are of it. I mean, how can you NOT BE OBSESSED WITH LOTR?!?!?

yes, i dont converse with many of the lotr lovers at my school...the reason being that they only like it for orlando bloom and they dont respect the movies for what they are...but i am probably the most obsessed one at my school
