apples are the almighty! why, you ask? just cuz.
not only can you eat an apple as an apple (which is very delicious) but you can also enjoy apple JUICE! see if your bananas can do that!
an apple a day will keep the doctors away...but a banana a day, well you just get sick of bananas

Well....I believe that apples are the obvious better pick....For one, can you dip bananas in caramel and nuts on a stick?? and put sprinkles and candy on it?? I THINK NOT! And do you ever see banana flavored lollipops??...i'd hardly think so....and, what about apple juice and apple pie?...you don't see bananaa juice and banana pie much, do you? Even if you did, that's just gross....
