I have to agree with Calen on this one, bananas go brown WAY WAY FASTER! BUT, people eat mashed banana in sandwiches, can't do that with apples! HA!

You can eat a mashed up apple in a sandwich too if you really want. ;D PLUS, mashed up apple has its OWN term, applesauce.

ew...who has applesauce in a sandwich? Bananas are easy to eat for all ages! Whether it be a newborn baby, or an old lady with dentures...can't say the same about apples!

people who eat bananas in sandwiches....duh! Haven't you ever heard of a peanut butter, jelly, and banana sandwich? It's very common. Plus you can make all sorts of tasty fried foods with bananas, can't fry an apple.

ah, but has the falling of a banana lead to the discovery of the laws of force and gravity? huh??

apples have a large volume to surface area ratio, and therefore have the maximum content for minimum surface. this partly means they can have less bruises than a banana.
also, the green ones taste nice
