only the best series on earth!!!! It's written by Robert Jordan and it's a new york best seller in fantasy. I recommend anyone and everyone to read it!!!! especially if you like LOTR.

the first book in the series is called "The Eye of the World"
there's 10 books out so far in the series

not much happening on the boards there the last few days *yawn*
I don't read too much fantasy, more of a scifi guy, so I won't say that the wheel of time is the best fantasy series out there, but it is definately worth reading in my opinion. It's just that there are so many characters, it can be tough to keep track of them all(I have trouble with all the aes sedai and wise ones).

I'm guessing there will be 15, plus the prequels Jordan's writing(I think there's at least 2 of these).

there's supposed to be 12 books total in the series and like 3 prequels...so, in a way 15...yeah *laughs*

I'll believe it when I see it.
From the pace of the last few books, I can't see it finishing till book 15. I suppose getting the three taveren back together could speed things up, but we'll see.
