i heard that the Tolkien family weren't happy with the LOTR movies and didn't really want Jackson to do The Hobbit.
i wonder why.

thast not true...i read an interview with it...they really liked the movies and "are thinking about the hobbit but am not really sure about it yet"

I love it because it's almost half believable.
But even if you've only seen LOTR's once, you should still recognize all that same footage.
You gotta admit, it's hashed together very well.
I'm not sure where they got the dragon stuff for Smaug, but it seemed alright.
No dialogue, no dwarves, but you get The Hobbit feeling from it.
If someone hadn't seen LOTR at all, I think they would be fooled.

on the main page at the bottom of the movie poster they used the credit thngy from lotr....lol...yeah sure this rrreeeaaallllly the hobbit
